Altach Biomedical is proud to announce a new strategic collaboration with Netherlands-based BAAT Medical, a leader in medical device development and innovation. This partnership marks a significant step forward in the development of advanced surgical tools and implantation devices to support Altach’s regenerative medicine platform.

By combining Altach Biomedical’s expertise in cartilage repair and proprietary type II collagen scaffolds with BAAT Medical’s engineering capabilities and experience in surgical device design, the two companies aim to deliver innovative, clinically effective solutions that enhance precision and outcomes in orthopaedic procedures.

“This collaboration is an exciting opportunity to accelerate the clinical impact of our regenerative technologies,” said David Browe, CTO of Altach Biomedical. “Together with BAAT, we’re designing tools that improve the accuracy and efficiency of implantation procedures, helping surgeons achieve better outcomes with greater confidence.”

The first prototypes are currently in development, with preclinical testing slated to begin later this year.
